Annotated Bibliography
DIRECTIONS: You will create an annotated bibliography to help you track your sources and evaluate the relevance of your findings to your research question. An annotated bibliography includes a list of citations followed by a descriptive and evaluative paragraph, the annotation. Your research should address the following questions:
- Why is this issue important?
- What is a viable solution to the problem?
- Why is this the best solution?

CRITERIA FOR SUCCESS:
Your Annotated Bibliography must include:
- Correct MLA formatting (font, size, spacing, margins, etc)
- 5 sources total (minimum)
- 3 library database sources
- 1 interview source
- 1 source of your choice (can be the same type as any of the above or a documentary)
- 150-word annotations that include:
- Summary of the main argument
- Analysis of source credibility
- Reflection identifying of how the source relates to your question, including:
- Whether the source will be helpful in your research (include why/why not)
- How this source may connect to any other sources/research you’ve done
