Images in US History

1. Click here to access World History in Context IN SCHOOL.

Click here to access World History in Context AT HOME.

2. Type in your topic such as Sacagawea or Tecumseh.  If your topic is in the drop down menu and is bold, pick that one.

3. Scroll down to see different types of articles and click on Images.

4. Copy and paste image on your Google Slides. 

5. Click Cite to get the citation.

Images in UMI

1. Click here to access UMI/Proquest AT SCHOOL. 

Click here to access UMI/Proquest AT HOME.

2. Click on Advanced Search.

3. Under Document Type, check the boxes for Illustrations and Image/Photograph.

4. Type in your search term on one row and search for your image.

5. Copy and paste your image.  Click Cite and change citation to MLA 8th Edition then copy and paste.

Images in Britannica

1. Click here to access Britannica AT SCHOOL.

Click here to access Britannica AT HOME. 

2. Choose High School Level as this gives more images.

3. Type in a search term such as Native Americans or Indigenous People.

4. Click on Images.

5. After finding an image, click on the check mark to get the citation to copy and paste.
