How to Find Images in US History/Biography/World

1. Click here to access US History AT SCHOOL.

Click here to access US History AT HOME.

2. Type in the person you are researching.  If your topic is in the drop down menu and is bold, pick that one.

3. Scroll down to see different types of articles and click on Images.

4. Copy and paste image on your Google Slides. 

5. Click Cite to get the citation.

How to Find Images in UMI

1. Click here to access UMI AT SCHOOL.

Click here to access UMI AT HOME.

2. Click on Advanced Search.

3. Under Document Type, check the boxes for Illustrations and Image/Photograph.

4. Type in your search term on one row and search for your image.

5. Copy and paste your image.  Click Cite and change citation to MLA 8th Edition then copy and paste.

How to Find Images in Britannica

1. Click here to access Britannica AT SCHOOL.

Click here to access Britannica AT HOME.

2. Choose High School Level as this gives more images.

3. Type in a search term such as Native Americans or Indigenous People.

4. Click on Images.

5. After finding an image, click on the check mark to get the citation to copy and paste.
